OCR: BBlobal Neburg Weird forests seen in Mojave Desert These strange plants are called Joshua trees and are named after the prophet Joshua, because their branches are supposed to look like his arms raised in blessing. They can grow up to 30 feet tall, and some have very strange shapes indeed.
